Role Specification:

We are incredibly excited to be recruiting for a Performance Marketing Executive based in Denver, Colorado who will be responsible for helping us grow our US presence.

Working with world-class content and an award-winning team, this is a crucial marketing position where you’ll be responsible for executing marketing strategies, securing media coverage in the US and always finding innovative ways to produce content that resonates with mainstream and targeted audiences.

Here at Open Bionics we create all our assets, campaigns and press in-house, so we’re looking for a person who enjoys dreaming up, executing and measuring high reach campaigns. We’ve grown the largest digital audience in the industry by creating joyful organic moments and we’re looking to continue that growth as best we can. There will be no outsourcing to agencies as this is a role for a creative person who loves to write and create. Open Bionics is a start-up and has ambitious growth plans, which will enable you to also grow your personal career and responsibilities along with the company. Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand. You’ll work closely with our UK Marketing Manager and the Chief Operating Officer on managing and growing an exciting young brand with an international reputation, as well as managing brand partnerships.
  • Creativity. You’ll have an abundance of creativity, excellent writing skills, and be able to spot an empowering story opportunity, and with great care, bring that story to life through innovative content across multiple channels.
  • Media. You’ll harness great relationships with journalists to secure regional, national and international media coverage, as well as respond swiftly to all inbound media enquiries and be confident fielding requests from journalists.
  • Lead Generation. You will use a combination of marketing and communications tactics to drive traffic to www.openbionics.com and encourage potential Hero Arm users to register interest.
  • Digital Channels. You will be responsible for producing creative content for digital channels including the Open Bionics website and social media channels.
  • User-driven. Our Hero Arm users are at the heart of Open Bionics and frequently co-create campaigns and content. You will therefore develop and maintain genuine relationships with existing and potential Hero Arm users. Our users come first and are always the priority, you will champion their voice and empower their ideas.
  • Events. you will be involved in managing and attending events across the nation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. You will be managing key relationships with various stakeholders including charities, industry leaders, brand ambassadors and the limb difference community.

Person Scorecard:

Essential:

  • Experience of content marketing management (identifying opportunities, assigning videographer and ensuring right content reach)
  • Experience of capturing social media content (some photography/ videography skills would be preferred)
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a wide range of audiences
  • Experience of working with national media outlets
  • Passionate for making a difference and/or working with limb difference communities
  • Able to demonstrate or showcase a portfolio or examples of your marketing content.
